eventshoch2 – Final Stage of a World Tour

Lange Uhren GmbH, Glashütte, Germany

On 6th December 2010, the world tour of the collection, “Homage to F. A. Lange”, ended with a large event in the Dresden Royal Castle. Up until then (since the Geneva Watch Salon in January 2010), the collection, which was specially created for the celebration of the 165-year anniversary of the establishment of F. A. Lange in Glashütte in 1845, could be admired in its totality only in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai exclusively for a select audience. In addition to the LANGE 1 TOURBILLION and the 1815 MONDPHASE “Homage to F. A. Lange”, the collection also includes the most complicated Lange watch of modern times, the new TOURBOGRAPH “Pour le Mérite” with Tourbillon, Rattrapante Chronograph and fusée-and-chain transmission. In addition, the select guests were able to admire the most complicated timepiece of all time, the pocket watch Grande Complication no. 42500 from 1902.

Invited journalists, dealers and VIPs from all over the world came especially for this event to Dresden. They were met at the airport by special chauffeur-driven shuttles discretely displaying the A. Lange & Söhne logo, which brought them to their respective hotels, and then, later in the evening, from there to the Dresden Royal Castle, in which the evening then ended with a festive closing event.

Our event agency, eventshoch2, was responsible at this event for the hostesses (at the airport, in the individual hotels and at the event), the musical setting of the evening with a live band, the logistics, the assembly and disassembly of various decoration materials and furnishings, the branding of individual areas of the castle with the Lange “Homage” corporate identity, as well as the provision of simultaneous interpreting services.
